What are Planned Gifts?

Planned gifts are charitable gifts that allow you to express your personal values through the merging of your family, financial, and charitable goals. Planned gifts can be made with cash, but many are made by donating appreciated assets such as stocks, real estate, fine art, business interests, etc.

Planned gifts can provide tax benefits and/or lifetime income for you, your spouse or other loved ones. The most common type of planned gifts are bequests to charities, made through a simple will. More complex planned gifts include charitable trusts and gift annuities.
