Adaptive Recreation

The Center’s Adaptive Recreation program offers approximately 45 activities to our Members each semester, as well as numerous workshops and special events throughout the year.  Members may enroll in a variety of classes with:
Visual Arts . . . Leisure Crafts . . . Expressive Arts . . . Educational Activities . . . Social and Leisure Interests . . . and Brain Fitness.

These classes provide many benefits to each Member.  The relaxed, social atmosphere allows a non threatening environment for participants to practice and modify personal skills for improved daily involvement.  Whether it’s to increase socialization, improve stamina and activity tolerance, relax and have fun, learn new leisure skills, or practice healthy strategies, our Members are able to participate in the activities of their choice without social and environmental barriers.
