The Center for Individuals with Physical Challenges is the only facility of its kind in the region, dedicated to providing a wide range of rehabilitative and recreational activities for persons with physical challenges.

Since 1957, The Center has enabled thousands of people with disabilities to increase their physical capabilities, learn new skills and celebrate their triumphs.  And, it has remained true to its mission, providing opportunities for persons with physical disabilities to enhance the quality of their lives.

More than fifty classes and activities are offered weekly to over 500 members on the campus and in the community.  Members are between seven and 90 years old, with physical disabilities varying greatly in nature and degree.  The Center’s uniquely trained staff uses specialized equipment and techniques to assist members in making adaptations for the specific challenges.
