What are your hours of operation?
8:00am-5:00pm Monday through Friday.
How much does it cost to be a member?
Fees are on a sliding scale based on annual household income. At the minimum, a Member will pay $7 in annual dues and $7 per class per sememster. At the maximum, a Member will pay $35 in annual dues and $35 per class per semester.
What are the qualifications to be a member?
- An individual’s primary disability must involve a mobility, dexterity, or sensory impairment.
- The individual must have sufficient functional capabilities to participate independently in Center activities
- If an individual needs assistance while participating in Center activities, they must provide his/her own personal assistant
What type of services do you provide at The Center?
- Rehabilitative Services
- Adaptive Recreation
- Community Reintegration
How long does my membership last?
Center Membership has no expiration date, but dues must be paid annually for one to be considered “active” status, which allows for enrollment in classes and activities.
Do you have an on-site physical therapist?
No. However, we do provide rehabilitative services, which include programs and classes that are designed to improve and/or maintain strength, endurance stamina and overall functional independence.
Do I have to apply?
Yes. You can find an online application on our website, under “Services” or pick one up at The Center’s reception desk.
