Building on a Legacy
For nearly 70 years, The Center for Individuals with Physical Challenges has been a place where people of all abilities can build connections, discover new opportunities and thrive through adaptive recreation, fitness, arts, education and community programs. As the region’s only adaptive recreation facility, The Center continues to grow alongside the community it serves.
The Building on a Legacy Capital Campaign will transform The Center’s future through the addition of 19,500 square feet of new upper-level space and 1,200 square feet of remodeled main-level space, increasing dedicated program space by 1,650 square feet. Upon completion, the main building will expand from 30,988 square feet to 51,688 square feet, creating the capacity needed for new programs, expanded services and continued growth.
This investment will ensure The Center can continue providing life-changing opportunities for generations to come while strengthening its mission of inclusion, independence and community.
